# CollectTheWorld Service Terms

**Version of 8 August 2026.** These terms apply only when this exact document is pinned by the accepted **CollectTheWorld (CTW)** agreement root. That root also pins the applicable shared terms. A later publication does not amend the accepted root.

## CTW-1 — Service

1. CTW is Coflnet's gamified image-collecting service. The app may show objects or challenges, allow a user to submit a photograph and description, classify a submission, and add an accepted item to the user's collection.
2. The app, challenge page and accepted root define the functions then available. A classification or collection entry is an entertainment feature, not professional verification, appraisal or safety advice.

## CTW-2 — Submission rules

1. Submit only a photograph and description that you created or are authorized to provide. Do not submit access credentials; unlawful material; intimate content; dangerous instructions; another person's confidential information; or personal data that is unnecessary for the collection function.
2. Do not photograph a person, private place or protected object without the permission or other legal basis required for the capture and submission. You remain responsible for complying with property, personality, copyright and other third-party rights.
3. A submission may be rejected, limited or removed under the proportionate enforcement process in the Core Terms, including for security, rights or quality reasons.

## CTW-3 — Operational licence

1. You retain your rights in a submission. You grant Coflnet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, for as long as needed to provide CTW and maintain your collection, to host, reproduce, resize, compress, classify, display to you and technically process the submitted photograph and description.
2. Public display, reuse in a general dataset, advertising, licensing to other users or model training is not covered by that operational licence. It requires a separately described contribution offer and the express, recorded agreement or consent stated there.
3. Removing a submission ends new operational use after reasonable processing time, subject to copies lawfully retained for security, legal claims or rotating backups under the Privacy Policy.

## CTW-4 — Automated classification

1. CTW may transmit an object or challenge phrase and necessary text context to the AI provider identified in the Privacy Policy to assist classification. The submitted photograph is not transmitted to that provider unless the interface first describes and obtains a legal basis for that separate feature.
2. Automated results can be wrong. Users can use the correction or support route shown in the app. Coflnet does not use a CTW classification to make a decision producing legal or similarly significant effects about a person.

## CTW-5 — Separate contribution programmes

1. Coflnet may separately invite users to contribute selected photographs or descriptions to improve a catalog or dataset. The invitation must state the exact material, intended uses, licence, review, reward (if any), eligibility, retention and withdrawal consequences before submission.
2. Ordinary CTW use does not enroll a user in such a programme. A programme benefit is governed by the exact Commerce and Programme Terms and programme information pinned or recorded for that submission; accepting these CTW terms alone creates no reward claim or training licence.

## CTW-6 — Third-party services, ending and law

1. App-store, device and sign-in providers remain independent services under their own terms. Their outage may affect CTW without limiting rights for which Coflnet remains responsible.
2. You may stop using CTW and use the available deletion controls. Termination, conformity, liability, privacy, changes, governing law and mandatory consumer rights follow the exact shared terms pinned by the CTW root.
