# AI Feature Terms

## AI-1 — Scope and document relationship

These AI Feature Terms apply only when this exact document is pinned by the shared Root with stable ID `ai` inside the accepted Agreement Root for a Service. They supplement the [Core Terms](/terms-of-service) and govern features that generate, classify, rank, transcribe, interpret or recommend content using machine learning or comparable automated methods ("AI Features"). Capitalised terms not defined here have the meanings given in the Core Terms.

These terms control only the subject matter expressly addressed here. The Core Terms otherwise govern, including account security, acceptable use, liability, data protection and mandatory consumer rights.

## AI-2 — Generated results and technical limitations

AI Features produce automatically generated results. A result may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, unsuitable for the intended context or similar to material produced for another user. A confident tone, score or ranking is not a guarantee of correctness. Rule-based or deterministic results presented alongside AI Features, including geometry or manufacturability checks, can also require expert verification.

Coflnet does not promise that a result is unique, factually correct or fit for a purpose not stated in the applicable Service description. Contractual conformity and statutory remedies for the Service itself remain unaffected.

## AI-3 — Human review and important decisions

AI results do not replace professional engineering, legal, tax, medical, financial, safety or other specialist advice. Verify relevant sources, calculations and assumptions before relying on a result. Do not use an AI result as the sole basis for a decision that may materially affect a person's rights, health, safety, livelihood, access to an essential service or another similarly significant interest.

Where a Service is expressly sold for a professional workflow, its order or Service Terms describe the contracted function; this clause still requires the level of qualified review appropriate to the risk and does not exclude any non-waivable warranty or liability.

## AI-4 — Inputs and instructions

You retain the rights you hold in text, files, prompts and other material submitted to an AI Feature ("Input"). You must have the rights and lawful basis needed to submit the Input and instruct Coflnet and its disclosed processors to process it for the feature. Do not submit access credentials, secrets, unlawfully obtained material or another person's personal data unless the feature is intended and lawfully configured for that purpose.

AI Features can follow unsafe, ambiguous or conflicting instructions imperfectly. You remain responsible for reviewing an Input before submission, choosing whether to use a result and using it lawfully. This does not make you responsible for Coflnet's own processing, statements, product design or legal duties.

## AI-5 — Permitted use of Inputs; no undisclosed training

Coflnet may process an Input and the generated result only to provide, secure, troubleshoot and support the selected feature, as further described in the applicable Service Terms and [Privacy Policy](/privacy). The operational licence in the Core Terms applies; ownership is not transferred.

Neither accepting these terms nor using an AI Feature gives Coflnet permission to use identifiable Inputs or results to train a general-purpose model or for an unrelated purpose. Such further use requires a separately described purpose and legal basis and, where based on consent, a voluntary, specific and revocable opt-in. An opt-in applies only prospectively to the material and use identified in it. Withdrawing it does not affect processing already lawfully completed before withdrawal.

The applicable Privacy Policy identifies any external model or infrastructure provider, processing region and retention rule. A provider receives only the data required for the activated feature and may use it only under the disclosed processing arrangement and applicable law.

## AI-6 — Transparency and feature changes

Where required by applicable law, Coflnet identifies that a user is interacting directly with an AI system or that content was artificially generated or manipulated. A Service description may also identify whether a result is generated by machine learning, deterministic rules or a combination.

AI Features may evolve within the limits of the [Core Terms on consumer modifications](/terms-of-service#core-consumer-modifications) and [Service changes](/terms-of-service#core-service-changes). A beta, preview or experimental AI Feature is governed additionally by the [Core beta terms](/terms-of-service#core-beta-advertising) and is not part of paid core functionality unless the order expressly says otherwise.

## AI-7 — Changes and mandatory rights

Changes to these terms follow the express-agreement and versioning rules in the Core Terms. Publication, silence or continued use does not amend an existing contract. Mandatory rights and Coflnet's duties under data-protection, consumer-protection and AI laws remain unaffected.
